Georg JAHNSEN: Interior Colour Application 4/2008

In this module the students learned all the basic colour schemes and its usage for the purposes of an interior design. Starting with the colour wheel, they continued to do different colour charts to understand the various possibilities to shade and contrast colours. The last task was to apply different ideas of materials for the surfaces in an interior context. Thanks a lot to my (18) students for the nice work and the good working atmosphere.

Profile

Mr. Georg Jahnsen is able to display a long multi-professional experience and expertise in the field of urban and land use planning based on a profound university study with a Masters Degree. Since March 2016 Georg Jahnsen is working as Project Manager for GIZ supported Projects under the GIZ Urban Cluster India in New Delhi. Mr. Jahnsens previous professional experience is on the one hand shaped by the practical work as a city and landuse planner and architect in actual projects worldwide. And he has worked as a german state official as the head of the department for planning and construction of the City of Heide in northern Germany. On the other hand, Mr. Jahnsen has worked on several theoretical and scientifical projects as a research assistant and teacher at the University of Brunswick at the Institute for Urban and Landuse Planning and as Lecturer and Program Manager for the Interior Design Department of Raffles Design International University Mumbai, India. The common thread throughout his career is to achive a sustainable urban and rural development with the tools of an innovative planning process as a key objective.These professional capacities and experiences qualify Mr. Jahnsen for a variety of tasks both in Germany and internationally.
